Danae Leivada was born in Athens. She has studied Mass Media and Communications at the University of Athens and has completed an M.A. in Legal and Political Theory at the University College of London. She is currently a part-time PhD research student in Politics and Law in the University of London and speaks English and French. She has worked as a professional translator for various companies.

Danae has written articles and carried out exclusive interviews for newspaper magazines like Geotropio (Eleftherotypia) and VimaMen (To Vima). She has also worked as a reporter and a freelance writer for newspapers (Apogevmatini) and as a associate producer for documentary production companies (Small Planet, Exandas Documentaries Series-ERT television). Today, she works for Forest Troop Ltd, one of the two production companies of ThePrismGR2010.

Danae has also written and edited many of the texts for The Prism GR2010.
